Finally We Got It!!

So yesterday when Jacob got home from work(around 1pm) I was finishing up giving Lily Ann her bottle and fixing to put her down for a nap. Jacob took her in and put her to bed while I made us lunch! Yes some good old Mac and Cheese and chicken nuggets!! LOL! After eating I was tired so he says go get in bed and take a nap I'll get her when she wakes up.. I didn't even think twice about it. I jumped into bed and fell asleep right away.. Next thing I know I hear Jacob calling from the living room, while he's playing with Lily Ann, Erin did you just hear what she did.. She was oooing and awwwing and giggling and just carrying on! (I hear this all day everyday but he doesn't!) He was so excited. So I fall back into my light sleep still hearing everything that is going on! All of a sudden I hear this "Erin! Erin! She did it! I think I got it on video this time! I'm going to try it again to make sure!" So I jumped out of bed and ran down the hallway to the living room to see Lily Ann roll over. Jacob says to me "put her back on her stomach and I'll video from here!" (knowing that as soon as he started to video she wouldn't roll!) He was soooo excited! So I put her back down and sure enough she rolled over!! YES!!! We finally got it on video!! After all the excitement I happened to look at the clock and it was 5:15pm..WHAT? I slept for 3 hours!! God love my husband! I thought it was only an hour or so!! I haven't had a nap like that in forever or actually a nap really at all!! Thanks babe your the best! He also let me sleep in this morning til 10:30am! It was great! So finally here's the video of Lily Ann rolling over!!

This is a Baby Juicy track suit that her Godmother and Godfather got her! This is what she wore on the plane ride to and from Arkansas this past week!! Isn't it the cutest!! Lily Ann is very lucky to have Godparents that are willing to buy her nice and expensive things!! LOL!!

Jacob and I made this video last night! We got news this morning that my Grandfather passed away. So we are headed to Arkansas probably tomorrow. I was so excited and hoping that he would be able to see this video! We are so blessed to have had him in our lives and are very thankful that he got to meet his Great-Granddaughter! He just loved her so much and she put the sparkle back in his eyes! He is much better off now. No more pain and is peaceful. Please keep our family in your thoughts and prayers as we go through traveling again with Lily Ann and the next few days!! We love you PawPaw!!

Oh those silly carrots!!

So Lily Ann has been eating carrots for the last 5 days! The first day was iffy we didn't think she liked them too much by the faces she was making the first couple of times she ate them! But non the less our chubster has pulled through and loves her carrots! I learned very quickly(as you will see) that the best way to feed them to her is to strip her of any clothing! I have found carrots in places I would have never thought!! So, do you know how hard it is to clean carrots out of ears, nostrils, and the oh so lovely double chin! LOL!! We call her our little chipmunk because she will pack the food in her cheeks and when we think she's done she'll still be eating!! HAHAHA!! I've also learned to duck when she has a mouth full and goes to sneeze or cough! That bugger got me once but I'm much quicker now! The carrots were a victory and we will see how the squash will go over the next few days!!

I got smart and put her just in her diaper and bib to eat!! We ruined some clothing not thinking about stains but we have learned!! You would think by now I would have better control and could make it in her mouth more often than not! But who cares we have too much fun!!

I can't believe we are starting our baby on solid foods!

So today we started Lily Ann on solid foods! I know I can't believe it! She's growing up way to fast! So we decided on cereal first, since she's had it in her bottle for the last 2 months. I thought she would like it but not as much as she did. Jacob is day working now since his knee surgery last week. (Which he is doing great. He was up walking around that night, although loopy and not remembering any of our conversations! LOL!!) So it was up to me to feed her this morning and try and video it at the same time! HAHA!! What an experience that was! I figured it would be easy but I was wrong! From the first bite I couldn't get it to her quick enough! She loved it! I've got 2 videos and you can see that I'm not the best at multi-tasking.LOL! I can't wait to start her on her veggies this weekend when Daddy will be home to help!! LOL!!

Guess who's a month older!!

Oh my goodness!! Lily Ann is 4 months old today!! I can't believe how fast it goes by! I can't believe she's already 4 months old! She is doing so much now! She finally rolled over on Saturday for the first time. She did it 2 times in a row and Jacob got the camera out and she wouldn't roll over anymore! Go figure. We have been trying to get her to do it since and she hasn't! LOL!! Just those 2 times. She now loves to be in her Bumbo seat, especially when we are in the kitchen cooking dinner or cleaning. She also loves her play yard now. All she wants to do is pull on the Angel that hangs down and kick it to make music. I was going through our video's of LA and found one from when she was 1 month old playing! Look how much bigger she has gotten in so little time!

She is doing so much now it's hard to keep up! Jacob and I are just now finally getting around to doing her baby book, all the things I thought I would remember I don't! How horrible is that! We go to the Doctor on Wednesday for her 4 month check up and shots! Hopefully this time she will be on the charts with her weight! LOL! We have really tried to fatten her up! She had gained almost 5 pounds when we were home in Arkansas. Here are some pictures from when we were visiting for 5 1/2 weeks in Arkansas!! LOL!!

Lily Ann's 4 month pictures!!

Since we were in Arkansas all of December I didn't get a chance to get any professional pictures of Lily Ann so I took her today to get them!! I figured they would be her 4 month(minus 5 days) pictures!! They turned out so good!! I wish I could have bought them all but then I would probably be a single parent!! LOL!! Hope you enjoy!!

Our 2008!!

So we are a little late for the fact that Lily Ann and I just got back to Florida Monday night from a 5 1/2 weeks stay in Arkansas.(Which I will tell you all about it later! One thing at a time.LOL!) Alright here we go! This is going to be long!!

January-Wow!! What a very sad but happy month! (This is one of the few months where I know exact dates!! LOL)

1st. We found out that Jacob's grandmother (Betty) had Cancer and the doctors were only giving her a few weeks to live. She passed away on January 19th, 10 years to the exact date, almost time, and room where his Grandfather passed away. That was Betty and she would have it no other way! She was the one of the most amazing women I have ever met. She was always in a good mood and could never sit still! She is greatly missed!!

5th. I broke my finger!! HAHAHA! That's a whole other story in itself!

10th- Went to the Psychic and she told me I was pregnant with a little girl and I told her she was crazy!

26th-Happy Birthday Emily! Jacob was on America's Most Wanted acting as a drug smuggler! We watched his 15 seconds of fame in Illinois!

27th-Found out we were pregnant while home in Arkansas! The Psychic was right!!(That would be the Pregnancy Test on the table..I think he was in shock, I don't think he moved for 5 minutes.LOL!!)

February-

10th- We got to see our baby for the first time!!

27th- Our baby was flipping around like crazy! 10Weeks!March- I really don't remember much from this month! I do know that I was very tired and slept a lot!! LOL!! That's probably why I couldn't find any pictures!!

April-

3rd- 15 Weeks..(I only get bigger from here!!)

We spent a lot of time at the beach because we knew we wouldn't be back for a long time!!We also took a trip to Orlando with our friends, Bret, Jessica, and Sienna Tindol! We visited Sea World and then spent the next day relaxing in the pool!

22nd- We were supposed to find out what we were having but the baby wouldn't uncross it's legs! May-
20th- Found out we were having a girl, Lily Ann Bouxsein!

June-

3rd- 24 weeks pregnant!8th- Jacob and I celebrated our 6th wedding anniversary! I can't believe it! It feels like yesterday we were in high school dating!! Love you babe!! I was also sent to the hospital for pre-term labor but it was stopped with medicine!
We went to a Cubs game in Tampa for our Anniversary!!

July-

We went to Maryland for Cody and Angela's wedding. Then we headed to Washington D.C!

Yes, I was standing in the water because I was the size of a house and it was 95 degrees outside..HAHAHA!! Mom, Dad, and Nanny came down to visit! We also had a baby shower here in Florida!
August-

My Best Friend from California came to visit for 2 weeks!! By this time I was worn out from all of the traveling we had done over the past 2 months but also it was way to hot!! This is when I started having high blood pressure!!
(I was having a non-stress test for the baby!!)

September-

5th- Weekly Doctors visit. My blood pressure was so high they sent me straight to the hospital! After a few hours on the monitor and relaxing they sent me home to stay off my feet!!

11th- Weekly visit. BP is still really high and protein in my urine. They decide to let me go home get my bags and come back to stay the night in the hospital and will induce me in the morning!!

12th- 6:30 am start my potosin..10:30 am they break my water(Then came the pain!! LOL) No epidural anywhere to be found!! LOL..12:36 pm Lily Ann is born!!

November-

Lily Ann is growing so fast!!

We ate Thanksgiving dinner with Jacob at the station since he was on duty!!

December- What a very long and fun month! Lily Ann and I spent the whole month in Arkansas!! There are way too many pictures to post so I will only post a few!! I can't believe how fast this year has gone by and how much our lives have changed! I'm looking forward to what 2009 holds for us but not looking forward to our baby growing up so fast!!
