So La and I have finally made it back home to California. Emily (my sister), LA, and I set off on our long 3 day road trip last Monday. And let me say it was 3 long days of travel. LA did great. She sat in the back seat and watched Mickey Mouse the whole way home. We did 12 hours the first day, 10 the second, and about 7 the third day.. It was so nice to be back in Arkansas with family while Jacob was gone, especially since I was so sick the first trimester of this pregnancy. We only have a few more days until Jacob will finally be home with us. It has been a long 6 months and we are ready for him to finally be home. It breaks my heart when LA picks up her cell phone and will pretend to talk to Daddy.. That is the only communication besides email that we have had with him over the past couple of months. Before we were able to Skype and she was able to see him. Now when the phone rings she automatically yells "Daddy". Soon we won't have to worry about phone calls or emails because he will be here.. He will be home until June and then be gone for a short tour and should be home in time for the baby to be born.. I don't know what I will do if he's not here for the birth but I have hope that everything will work out in our favor..
I would like to thank our family for taking such good care of us while we were home for a long 3 months vacation.. My Mom and sisters did wonders when I was sick and on bed rest they took care of me and Lily Ann no questions asked. They actually took care of LA the whole time we were home..LOL!! She definitely got very spoiled while we were visiting and loved all the attention.. I must say that I have the best family in the world!! I have a Dr. appointment in the morning to get my referral to see my OB so I will post again soon on Baby B update.. Hopefully we will be able to find out the sex in the next couple of weeks.. I can't believe that I will be 16 weeks on Sunday!! I feel like a whale..LOL!!
