Holy cow has it really been 2 1/2 years since I have updated!?! I'm horrible, I know, but let me assure you those years have flown by with lots of fun and not so much fun times! But that is life and we play with the cards we are dealt. And I for one like to think that I have been dealt a pretty good hand! I can't believe that our babies are not really babies anymore. Although they will always be my babies no matter how old they are. Lily Ann is now 5 1/2 and Cash is 3 1/2.... Seriously where has the time gone!?!

Hello 2014!! You have come in with a bang hands down! January was one of those not so much fun times..I'm not talking about a couple of days... I'm talking about the whole month.. The month started off with Jacob having knee surgery. We were not for sure exactly what to expect until the Dr. got in to actually see what all damage was done and what could be done to fix what is left. It was bad but not as bad as we had expected.. Basically the Dr. went in and cleaned all he could, trimmed very little on the meniscus (There is very little left from his previous surgery in 2009), cleaned out the loose cartilage that was floating around in the knee, and tried to preserve as much cartilage as possible. He does have a couple of places where it is all gone and it is bone on bone. (Makes me cringe just thinking about it)What it all boils down to is arthritis is basically eating up his knee and we are trying to buy as much time as possible before a knee replacement! We are almost a month out from surgery and he is doing great! His knee is getting stronger and stronger every day. Did I mention that he has basically been home with us since the middle of December except for a few days! This is the longest time we have all been together as a family in a little over 2 years.. Maybe this is why I actually have time to update. LOL! It has been GREAT!! Now he is getting ready to head back to the boat and that means transition time all over again.. But this is our life that has been given to us so we get back to our "normal" after a few days and thank God for the time that we have got to spend together as a family and pray for the time to pass quickly.

Now on to the most energetic, funny, loving, sassy little girl, Lily Ann! I can't believe she is 5 1/2 (seriously going on 18)and will be starting kindergarten in the fall.. The day after Jacob's surgery LA came down with a fever of almost 103! I pretty much kept her fever under control all day. The next day (Friday) I had got up to go to work and LA was once again running a fever and had a horrible cough.. I went ahead to school and called and made her an appointment to be seen in the afternoon and I'm glad I did. Turns out this sweet little girl had the Flu Type A. Bless her heart she would run a high fever one day and the next day be completely fine.. We repeated this about 3 times over the next week. I was literally running from our bedroom(Where she spent most of her time) and the living room where Jacob was. To say those 7 plus days were anything but stressful and exhausting would be a lie. Not to mention trying to keep Cash entertained at the same time.. I think I am probably sporting a few new grey hairs, but hey that's what hair dressers are for right!?! LA is now back to her busy self and we are getting ready to start back up Tee Ball! I'm so ready for Spring you have no idea!

Last but not least a little update on my sweet, handsome little boy! Cash is now 3 1/2!! Still in shock over that one! It seems like yesterday that we had just brought him home from the hospital. So after Jacob and LA were slowly getting back to themselves (last week)we were finally heading back to school. Wednesday was a morning like any other morning around here.. It was very cold and we were running late! HA! I had pulled up to school, unbuckled the kids, and put their jackets on. I got out of the truck and went to open up Cashs' door. Little did I know that he was leaned up against the truck (Tahoe) door with his hands in his pockets. Not realizing this, I opened the door and as I did he fell out face first and landed right on the concrete. My heart literally stopped and I thought I was going to pass out. I immediately dropped everything and picked him up. By this time LA had made it out her side of the truck and made it around to us. She was very upset and was ready to help. I couldn't see much except for blood coming from his nose and mouth and some road rash on his forehead. Then he happened to look up for a split second and I noticed that his tooth was chipped. All I knew was that I needed to get inside to get a better look and figure out where to go from there. LA grabbed all of our things and we ran to the school. Once inside, our wonderful director, was quick to help. God has blessed me with the most amazing people in my life! I was able to sit Cash down and and get a good look and that little chip was a crack all the way up his tooth. He had a busted lip and a cut on his nose. Poor boy also had road rash on his upper lip and his forehead. Luckily my Mom works in the church office so I managed to call her and she was over there with me before I knew it! I was finally able to get him calmed down enough to where I could think for a minute and find a dentist to get him in to ASAP. He kept saying "It's not fair! Mommy it's not fair!" Luckily I was able to get him seen right away! He was so brave and didn't fuss at all. And like I knew, I was told they were going to have to extract the tooth. So now my cute sweet little boy is sporting a snaggle tooth smile. Cash is not good with change and I was so worried that he was going to have a hard time adjusting to this but this little boy is so proud of his "one lost tooth" as he calls it! I have to say that I have the funniest video of him after he was given his medicine to relax him before they pulled the tooth. He laughs every time he watches it. He was sore the first couple of days but is pretty much back to normal and nothing is slowing him down!

So in a (long) nutshell this is how we started our New Year! I'm almost positive it's going to be a lot better! Jacob is finally home for a winter storm and actually got to get out and play with the kids today in the snow. I watched them from inside as they played and I was thanking God for blessing me with these 3 people who are my world and my everything! This last month has been rough and I have to admit that while I was running around like a crazy woman taking care of these 3 I wouldn't have it any other way. I am truly blessed and this picture explains it all!!

They are truly the light of my eyes!! I love the way they love each other.. I love the way that LA will take a toy to Cash if he is fussing or if he gets hurts she is the first one over saying "It's okay big boy!" I love the way his eyes light up when she decides that she wants to play with him. The twinkle in his eyes and the smile on his face are priceless!! I love the way Cash looks at LA and tries to talk and only jibberish comes out and LA will look at me and say "Mommy what's he saying?, He's being silly again!" I love the way that LA wants to feed Cash his bottle!! I Love how this little girl will look up at me when I'm putting her to bed and say"Good night Mommy...the end.. I love you!" Melts my heart every time. I love the way this little boy like to snuggle with me.. I especially love when he decides that he needs to take a nap with me! ;) I even love how busy they keep me running around after them! Have I told you how much I LOVE these 2!?!Erinhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16888794466981689120noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6271314663746646350.post-3314177046754799052011-07-06T21:46:00.000-07:002011-07-06T21:59:02.142-07:00My sweet sweet Lily Ann..<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 266px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-RZyUKKp_M6M/ThU6XvSxyfI/AAAAAAAAAvw/rFvFahHbefk/s400/2.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5626467488975931890" />

This picture says it ALL!!! This little girl also holds my heart in the palms of her little hands!! What can I say about this little firecracker!?! She is truly pure entertainment 24/7!! Or as Eddie calls her sweet&sour! She will be sweet one minute and then the next minute she is sour!! LOL!! I can't believe she will be 3 in a couple of months. It blows my mind! She is so smart and she knows it! She is our little actress! LA started speaking with a British accent about 6 months ago! And when I say a British accent I mean a British accent. We would have people stopping us just to hear her talk.. Of course I am her Mommy and am around her 24/7 so I never really heard it until I went back and was watching some of her videos.. Well now that sweet British accent has been replaced with a deep southern accent.. HAHAHA!! I am not kidding either! Like I said pure entertainment.. She is my little helper! Loves loves loves to help me clean and take care of Cash! She is such a help and truly keeps me laughing ALL day long!!Erinhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16888794466981689120noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6271314663746646350.post-90656031431512522282011-07-06T21:28:00.001-07:002011-07-06T21:46:29.809-07:00My little Cashman!!<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 266px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-41Rjja2XfEA/ThU25e-gQ5I/AAAAAAAAAvo/zw8IwbTUSAw/s400/1%25281%2529.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5626463670664971154" />

This little man holds a huge piece of my heart in his tiny little hands!! He is honestly my sweet baby boy! He is still a Mommy's boy and I LOVE every minute of it! He is doing so much now. No don't worry he's not crawling (even though he will be 1 in less than 2 weeks!)he can roll and army crawl to get there faster! He is pulling up and cruising around his "cage"(play yard). He is starting to eat table food and loves it!! I have to really watch because LA is such a great big sis that she will take it upon herself to try and feed him her food! ;) He still takes 4 7oz bottles a day. We are working on the sippy cup but he really doesn't care too much for it. Lets face it! This little man just started holding his own bottle!! Yes, you read that right.. We(our family) have been trying to get him to hold it for months and he would refuse. I would even lay it on his belly and let him scream thinking that eventually he would grab it but no he wouldn't!! Wouldn't you know as soon as Jacob got home from his last deployment he says "I'll get him to hold his bottle!!" His Mom and I laughed saying yeah right... Good luck! Sure enough Jacob handed him the bottle and he took it no questions asked.. You should have seen the look on Jacob's face when he did this. I'm glad that at least Jacob got in one of Cash's first! ;) Although Cash looks big he's only 21 lbs. (40% for age)and 29 1/2 inches long (64% for his age) I was shocked when I took him in for his 9 month check up, 2 weeks ago! ;) In less than 2 weeks my baby is going to be a year old! I honestly can't believe it!! Where has the time gone!?!Erinhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16888794466981689120noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6271314663746646350.post-62784865214161490692011-07-06T21:09:00.001-07:002011-07-06T21:27:54.394-07:00Has it really been that long...I got on here figuring I should update since it has been a while.. But now I am sad because my last post was in November of last year. To say the least we have been so busy since then.. Life with an almost 3 year old and an almost 1 year old is very hectic and honestly at the end of the day I am exhausted and posting a blog is the last thing on my mind.. But today that changes.. I will make at least 1 post a week from here on out. My babies are growing up so fast and are doing so many things that I easily forget. And I don't want to miss on second of these sweet babies lives.

Like I said the past 8 months have been very busy. The babies(Yes they are my babies, I refuse to believe that they are growing up! ;) )and I have been in Arkansas for about 7 of those months. Yes that is right.. We have actually been with Jacob maybe 6 weeks out of the past 8 months! We are enjoying this short time that we have with him now! (only 45 days)By the time that he gets back from this next deployment we will have seen him for a total of almost 3 months total in a year. And he is only scheduled to be home for a little less than 4 months over the next year. We are counting down the days til our time on this ship is up.. I am ready to have my husband home and so are the babies..Okay enough of my pity party. I'm going to update you on the 2 most precious babies in the world in the next two posts!!Erinhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16888794466981689120noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6271314663746646350.post-81211012654383132822010-12-13T19:12:00.000-08:002011-07-06T21:09:11.689-07:00Cash is 4 months old!!It seems time has gotten away from me again! I just realized that I didn't get a post up of Cash at 3 months. I'm horrible I know but honestly by the time I get both babies in bed at night I am pooped! I am going to try and update at least once a week now that things are starting to settle down. (We will see how this works!) Now to the good stuff..

I can't believe my baby boy is now 4 months old. (Well almost 5 since I am so behind!) He has grown so much over the past few weeks it amazes me. He is such a happy baby and is always looking around smiling and talking. He has the cutest laugh but his Sissy is the only one that can get him to laugh and getting her to do that is like pulling teeth. HAHA! Here are some things that Cash is doing at 4 months:

*He weighs 14lbs 3oz. (I fed him a 5 ounce bottle right before we weighed him and the nurse laughed! So technically he weighs 5oz. less. LOL! but I'm sticking with the weight!)

*He is 24 inches long.

*He just moved up to size 2 diapers.

*He eats 5 5oz bottles a day and twice a day still gets his medicine for his reflux.

*He takes 3 naps a day 2 one hour naps and 1 two hour nap.

*He sleeps from 8ish-815. He's such a good sleeper like his Sissy.

*He is still rolling over from his tummy to his back and will get about half of a roll trying to roll back.

*He has found his voice and LOVES to talk. I think he is going to be like LA and talk every ones ears off.

*He is just now starting to wear 3-6 month clothing. (I was so sad when I had to pull those out and put up the NB clothes.)

*He loves his bath time!! Sometimes I will put him and LA in the bath with me (This is when he really laughs because he has Sissy's undivided attention)

*He no longer likes to be rocked. When he is ready for bed he is ready to be put down no questions asked.

*He is definitely a Momma's boy. He loves his Mommy and he lets it be known. (This makes me very happy!!) ;)

Cash you are growing up so fast it just amazes me and your Daddy! You are discovering something new everyday and we love to see you grow. Although, I wish you would stay small and be my sweet baby boy! We love you so much and are so happy that God has blessed us with you!Erinhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16888794466981689120noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6271314663746646350.post-54501651670080422112010-11-06T21:47:00.000-07:002010-11-06T22:01:42.491-07:00This little girl loves the HOGS!!The video explains itself!! When I hear crying coming back from LA's room. I didn't think anything of it at first because sometimes she will cry just to get out of taking her nap. Well next thing you know I hear this knocking coming from her door and her yelling "I'm stuck I'm stuck!" I yelled at Jacob who was in the garage working on his motorcycle and put Cash down and ran back to her room. Sure enough there she was standing on the other side of her door crying. Somehow she managed to get out of her crib. How we still don't know! Her crib is big and the mattress is almost all the way to the floor! Any ways that was enough for me. I have always said as soon as she climbs out of it we are converting it to her toddler bed. I couldn't live with myself if she fell and broke and arm or really hurt herself!

(LA was out in the garage with her Daddy before bed w/out shoes on and I forgot to wash her feet! LOL!!)

LA has done so good with the transition to her "Big Girl Bed"! I thought for sure we would be up all night with her trying to get her to stay in bed. So far that has not been the case. The only problem is that now she is getting up so much earlier. Luckily she will get some books and toys and get back in bed for about half an hour. When she is ready to get up she will knock on her door and yell "Hewooo" until we get her! Silly Girl!!

I say that LA has been really good about sleeping in her bed and that was before this afternoon's nap! I put her down for her afternoon nap and I thought she was sleeping! About a hour later I hear her in her room and I go to get her up! As I open the door all I see is a wall covered in black crayon. As I continue to walk in and turn the corner I notice another wall that is covered in black crayon. So I turn around to tell LA that she is in trouble just in time to notice more black crayon on another wall and her closet doors! I about died and so did her Daddy. Luckily Nana is one smart woman and got rid of all of LA's crayons and bought her washable crayons.. THANK GOODNESS!! And you better believe that this little girl cleaned those walls and got a big talking to! I don't see her doing it again anytime soon! (Knock on wood) We searched up and down for the "black crayon" and guess where is was? Yes it was under her bed.. I think she was planning on redesigning her room some more!!

Erinhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16888794466981689120noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6271314663746646350.post-12643598041600520442010-10-04T21:43:00.000-07:002010-10-09T20:28:30.782-07:00Cash is 2 months old...
Really!?! I forgot how fast time goes by. I am just now getting to sit down and write about my sweet baby boy at 2 months. (Over a week late! ;) )

Cash you have given your Daddy and me a run for our money! Well mainly me! LOL!! You are truly a Momma's boy and I love every minute of it! Now that we have finally figured out why you cried and screamed your head off for over 4 weeks (reflux) you are the sweetest little boy. (Not that you weren't sweet before you were just very fussy and no matter what we did we couldn't make you happy and comfortable) You are now on medication for your reflux and are doing so good. You have even started to sleep through the night. YEAH!! Here are some things that you are doing at 2 months:

*You now weigh 11lbs 1 1/2 oz. and are 23 inches long. You are in the 21 percentile for your weight and 53rd for your height.
*You love to roll!! Every time we put you on your mat, bed, or anywhere on your belly you roll right over!
*You love to watch your Sissy. You will just smile and try to talk to her when she is anywhere near you.
*You are still eating 3 1/2ounces every 3 hours during the day.
*You usually go to bed anywhere between 8:30 and 9:30 and will sleep til 5-6am. (3nights in a row now!)
*You love bath time. As soon I put you in your bath you just smile smile smile!
*You love to ride in the car unless we get stuck in traffic. (Which in CA there is always traffic!) You will start to fuss but as soon as we get going you stop. (I have ran through many yellow lights for fear of a screamfest if we get caught at the light! HAHA!)
*You love to be in the stroller and go for walks. When you were really fussy and would cry ALL day long I would put you and LA in the stroller and we would walk. You would be so content but as soon as we would walk back in the house you would scream again!! I must say that you do have the best set of lungs for someone your age! ;)
*You love to cuddle with Mommy! And Mommy LOVES to cuddle with you! The only way you will fall asleep is if I am holding you. (Bad habit I know but this is my last baby and LA did not like to cuddle so I'm soaking it up!)

Sweet baby boy!

This is how Cash was for almost 5 weeks before it was determined that he has reflux!

Erinhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16888794466981689120noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6271314663746646350.post-16308537284531600832010-09-22T20:05:00.000-07:002010-09-22T21:01:00.166-07:00Look who is 2!!Oh my I am a little behind. More on that in another post. I can't believe that our baby girl is 2! That's right 2! Honestly I don't know where the time has gone, it seems like yesterday that we brought her home from the hospital. LA has grown so much over the past year it boggles my mind. When I was looking back on her 1st birthday pictures I can't believe how little she was and how at the time I thought she was so big! She wasn't even walking on her 1st birthday and now it's so hard to keep up with her! Here are some things that LA is doing now at 2!

*weighs 32 pounds and is 34 inches tall.
* counts to 13
*knows most of her colors and shapes
*Has a HUGE vocabulary and LOVES to talk! She literally talks from the time she gets up to the time she goes to bed! If she is not talking she is humming! She's never quiet! ;)
*Still takes 2 (1-2 hours) naps a day.
*Loves to help out with everything from laundry, starting the dishwasher, picking up, and especially with Cash.
*Totally in love with the Care Bears and "Hogs" Razorbacks! Anytime there is football on the TV she is constantly calling the hogs no matter who is playing!
*really starting to get into dressing up and princesses.
*She is a LOVER! She will run up to Jacob and I and just love on us. She gives us the biggest hugs and kisses and then will just say "I luv you" out of the blue!! Melts my heart!!
*She loves to love on her brother! Poor Cash gets more kisses from her and than Jacob and I combined!
*Is so into making up her own songs and dances! She is the entertainer of the house!

I'm sure there is so much more that I am leaving out.

Lily Ann we are so proud to be your parents! You are such a sweet, loving, silly little girl and you keep us laughing all of the time. We could not imagine our lives without you! You are truly the light in our eyes! Happy Birthday big girl!

Good Morning Birthday Girl!!

Kitchen set Aunt Erika got her.

LA's Birthday outfit! I put him down on his tummy and he rolled over right away! I couldn't believe it! He wasted no time! He was 1 day shy of 8 weeks and I think he is doing pretty good!! He's a strong little boy!

Erinhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16888794466981689120noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6271314663746646350.post-53870806688592129332010-09-03T10:10:00.000-07:002010-09-03T10:17:21.940-07:00Fun Friday! What a beautiful morning! I am typing this as LA is playing out in the backyard and Cash is chilling in his bouncer seat next to me! We have been doing this lately in the mornings after breakfast coming out to play since it has been so dang hot in the afternoons. Cash is so good he will just sit and watch LA play and look around. I got this good picture of the two of them just a few minutes ago! Do you know how hard it is to get a good picture of the two of them!?! It's almost impossible! I just loves these two babies more than anything in the world!!

Erinhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16888794466981689120noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6271314663746646350.post-50075274463760611572010-08-27T07:08:00.000-07:002010-08-27T07:42:30.631-07:00Look Who is 1 Month Old..

I can't believe my baby boy is already a month old! I have forgotten how fast they grow up. I am not ready for him to get big. I want him to stay small for as long as possible. With LA I couldn't wait until she would hit her next milestone but with CW knowing that he is our last baby I want him to stay little for a long time! This little man has stole my heart! He is such a good baby and we have lucked out on both him and LA being chilled relaxed babies. He's not a big crier (which I love! ;) ) and is an AWESOME cuddlier. This little guys loves to cuddle and I LOVE it. LA was so the opposite from the get go. She wasn't into the whole cuddle thing and would rather be put down to sleep, no rocking nothing. (Although since CW has arrived she is all about cuddle time with Mommy, which I'm so happy about!) CW has really started to sleep less during the day in the past week and a half. He loves to lay in his boppy and stare at the mirror and candles on the wall. He is so fascinated by the mirror he would lay there and stare at it all day long if I let him.

Cash, here are some things that you are doing at 1 month:

*You eat 3 oz. usually every 3 hours on the dot. Although the past few days you have gone 4-5 hours on a couple of feedings during the day, Let's hope we can do this at night soon! ;)

*You usually wake up once around 3 am to feed and then not again until after 7am.

*You are a really good sleeper and we are starting to get on a schedule.

*You have really started to stay awake longer during the day. You are usually awake after your morning feeding between 7-8 til usually around 10:30. (I think this is mainly because Sissy entertains you!)

*You love to watch your Sissy act crazy. If you are fussy she will come to you and either sing or tell you to "Shhhhhhh" and you will stop and just watch her.

*Oh how you LOVE bath time. Last night when I put you in you fell asleep because you were so relaxed.

*You loved to be swaddled very tight at night although your arms have to be out if not you will wiggle them until they are free!

*You also like to ride in the car. Although you don't like it when we put you in your car seat but as soon as we put you in the car you are good!(Which by the way is soo nice because we are always going around here!)

Cash we are so proud to be your parents! Although I don't look forward to you growing up so fast, I am excited to watch you grow and learn new things. We love you so much!!Erinhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16888794466981689120noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6271314663746646350.post-39536605202246199382010-08-25T15:38:00.001-07:002010-08-25T15:40:49.036-07:00Wordless Wednesday<img style="display: block; Jacob and I went in to the hospital at 5 am Monday morning to get checked in. By 6:30 we were all ready in our room and I was started on Pitocin. At this point I was only 1 cm dilated and 50% effaced. I had talked to my Dr about getting an epidural this time because with LA she came so fast I didn't have enough time to get the epidural because the anesthesiologist was in emergency csection. She decided that I should get the epidural right after I started my Pitocin, but guess what the anesthesiologist was in a C-Section so it would be a while. Oh man did I start to have flash backs and Oh man did I not want to go down that road again! LOL!! I wanted so badly to be able to enjoy this delivery. So we had to wait on him to get done with the surgery. At 9:20 my Dr. came to check on me and break my water. Luckily she said that she had the Anaesthesiologist outside and that after she broke my water he would come in and give me the epidural. Thank the Lord!! So at 9:20 I was still only at around 2 cm dilated. By 9:3o I had my epidural and was feeling great! 10:30 I was already at a 4. I was so happy that things were moving right along and just knew that my baby would finally be in my arms by noon!! I was then checked again at about 11:45 and was only to a 5. I had a feeling things were going to start to slow down from here since it seemed to take so long to get from 4 to 5. At 12:15 my nurse came in and said that from the monitors it looked as if Cash was finally starting to make his way down and that she would check me at 12:30 to see where I was. Less than 10 minutes later I started to feel the pressure and thought surly not. The nurse came back in and said "I need to check you now he should be here soon and lets pray that I don't see a head when I open the blanket!" (My Dr. office is about 15 minutes away and that's if there is no traffic on the freeway! And this is California!!) So thank goodness there was no head and when she checked I was at 10 and ready to push. She called my Dr at 12:25 and told her to get here asap.

This is when it hit me that I will soon be holding my baby boy. The tears started to flow as I was so excited to finally be a Mommy again but then the anxiety over LA and how she would deal with this. Is she going to hate me because I am bringing home another baby who will take some of the attention away from her? Will I love him as much as I love LA? How is it even possible to love anyone as much as I love LA? Am I going to be a good Mommy and be able to handle 2 babies? How am I going to be with my husband now since there will be hardly any alone time for us? All of the questions that I think are common when having a baby. I have always known since I was a little girl that all I ever wanted to be when I grew up was a wife and a Mommy. And now I know that is what I am supposed to be.

So the Dr. arrived at 12:40 pm and said "Thanks for holding him in for me! Now let's have a baby." I started pushing about a minute later and even though I had the epidural and really didn't feel much I did feel a lot of pressure and once I started pushing I didn't want to stop. I pushed through 3 contractions at 12:51 pm all of a sudden the most beautiful baby boy was finally in my arms. And at that moment once I laid my eyes on my little boy I knew that it was possible to love another person as much as I love LA. I knew that everything was going to be okay and THIS is how it is supposed to be! I knew that LA would love this little man and that it may take time but in the end they will not only be brother and sister but that they would be best of friends for the rest of their lives! I knew that although Jacob and I won't have that much alone time together that what little time we do have will be all that we need. And I knew that this is what God had planned for me, to be blessed with an amazing husband and father, one little crazy, non-stop talking, funny, loving little angel and one sweet perfect little baby boy. My life is now complete and I could not ask for more!!

Cash William Bouxsein
Born July 26, 2010
12:51 pm
6lbs 5 oz
18 inches long

One happy Daddy!

One happy Mommy!

One cute Big Sis!

One happy Big Sis!

One happy family!

Erinhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16888794466981689120noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6271314663746646350.post-87943898728954167782010-07-30T00:41:00.002-07:002010-07-30T08:24:01.116-07:00Someone loves to say their name!!We have worked forever with Lily Ann on her full name.. She started out just saying Lily then it went to Lily Ann. It took FOREVER for her to say our last name. She would get so mad and try and hit us if we tried to get her to say it. (Many time outs were given) Sure enough yesterday while she was supposed to be taking a nap (Cash and I were back in our room napping) she decided to play in her crib instead and then all of a sudden I heard this sweet little voice say Lily Ann Bouxsein! over and over again! We got a video of her yesterday in the car saying her name.. I just love this little voice!

Erinhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16888794466981689120noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6271314663746646350.post-37994909187682050952010-07-20T17:17:00.003-07:002010-07-20T17:41:18.606-07:00Cash will be here sooner than we thought...I just had the weirdest feeling this morning as I was headed to the Dr. for one of my 2 weekly NST(non-stress test). You know when something just pops in your mind and tells you something. Well that's what happened to me. As I was driving I got this overwhelming feeling that things with Cash were not going to go as planned, ( Induction Aug. 4th) And why should it when nothing this whole pregnancy has gone the way I thought it would.

Sure enough as I got into the room they took my blood pressure and it was 149/93 WOOOOhhhh that is high.. My average is 120/68. Right then I knew that the feeling I had in the car was right. I went ahead with my test and everything was good! When my Dr, came in to check I could tell that she was really worried about my bp she said that they were going to re check my BP and she was going to check to see what was going on with my cervix and we would discuss matters from there. I was thinking please Lord just let it not be today. Jacob has to be here just not today! My BP was back down to normal and when she checked me I was already at a 1 close to 2. So she said that since my BP went back down she would wait until Monday to induce but I have to stay on bed rest until then. What's one more week right!?! I was just glad that it gave Jacob enough time to get home. He was due back home at the end of the week. They have been underway and our only contact has been email for the last couple of weeks. So when I got home I shot him an email informing him to be ready next week that little Cash is coming early.. A couple of hours later I got a phone call from him saying that he was headed to the airport that the ship just happened to be in port letting off some contractors and his Command sent him on his way!! I couldn't believe it. Everything in the end has worked out the way it is supposed to. Emily and Addison have been here since Sat. when my Mom left and now Emily will stay an extra week to help take care of LA while we have Cash and bring him home. I guess even though this pregnancy has not gone as I had planned it has worked out the way it is supposed to in the end.. So Jacob will finally be home tonight and little Cash will be in our arms on Monday! I can't wait to meet my little man!

Erinhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16888794466981689120noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6271314663746646350.post-60416095654429803672010-07-07T23:00:00.005-07:002010-07-07T23:20:46.291-07:0035 Weeks...I can't believe it.. I'm a little over 35 weeks pregnant.. That means that if Cash stays put like he is supposed to then 4 weeks from today he will finally be in our arms!! In one week and 4 days I get off bed rest.. I'm soo excited and am actually counting down the days. I will get off right before Jacob comes home which means that we will be able to see the ship come in. (Which is the best thing in the world! Talk about tears of joy!!)

I'm still feeling good and it could be because I'm not doing much! My only complaint is that I'm getting to the point that I'm so uncomfortable while sleeping. Between rolling back and fort from side to side to the oh so many potty breaks throughout the night I feel like I don't get any sleep at night.. I still have 2 non-stress tests a week. And everything is looking great so far.. Cash likes to roll around and kick while I'm hooked up to the monitors..

Jacob's Mother was here for almost 4 weeks helping take care of LA! And I am forever grateful that she was able to come out and help! My Mom is here now helping out and will be relieved by Emily next weekend only to turn around and fly back out with my Dad 2 weeks later to take care of LA again for when Cash arrives! I am so lucky to have an awesome family who will drop everything to help out! I am truly blessed!!

This is what I do 2 times a week for 45 minutes..

Mom and I goofing off passing the time!!

Erinhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16888794466981689120noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6271314663746646350.post-66917313992037879432010-07-07T22:57:00.002-07:002010-07-07T22:59:14.481-07:00Wordless WednesdayErinhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16888794466981689120noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6271314663746646350.post-14123086051448561822010-06-24T20:49:00.007-07:002010-06-24T21:24:18.461-07:00They could be twins!!So as you all know LA is a spitting image of her Daddy.. It is very rare that someone will actually say that she looks like me. Mom emailed me a picture of my Dad and I couldn't believe it! LA looks just like him and I mean she could be him.. It's so weird how much she looks like her Daddy but then at the same time could be my Dad's twin.. She even has the same hairline as my Dad if you look at the picture his hair is only growing down the middle and not on the sides like LA!!
Erinhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16888794466981689120noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6271314663746646350.post-47224646773251998592010-06-18T16:49:00.002-07:002010-06-18T16:54:41.804-07:00Why having a toddler is like being at a frat party!!Oh my I ran across this site on another social network that I am on and I just had to share..
