LA wasn't too sure about this Easter Bunny and I can't blame her.. He was scary looking!! But of course she was happy once we gave him high fives!! My baby girl is growing up!! BTW you really can't see but her toe nails are pink and let me tell you she is sooo proud of those pink little piggy's!!

We could not be any happier!! Jacob and I have been trying to figure out a boys name for the past few weeks. We were settled on a girls name but we were butting heads with a boy name. Friday night on our way home from dinner I was going through one of my baby name books spitting names out that I liked and was getting denied left and right. I came across Cash and I said it to Jacob as a joke to see what he would say and as soon as it came out of my mouth I just knew that this was his name. Jacob looked at me and almost laughed then he said it and said "I could see our son with that name!" and that was it!! I had no idea that I would actually fall in love with this name but I have and now I can't wait to meet this sweet little boy!!

We have a lot to get done before Cash makes his big debut.. Everything that was Lily Ann's was all pink. The swing, boppy seat, play mats, clothes, everything is pink..LOL!! So we are having to buy all new stuff. I'm soo glad that I have found a Once Upon A Child(An hour away without traffic!!, gotta love California traffic!). We will be purchasing most of these things from there.. We have decided no to try and move into a bigger house before he gets here because he will be sleeping in our room for the first couple of months or until he starts sleeping through the night then we will move him into LA's room..We will be moving again as late as 2012 or even earlier if Jacob advances before then so that's why we have decided to stay where we are for now! Plus my Dr. is already worried about my blood pressure. I had high blood pressure with LA and ended up being induced 2 weeks early with her because it was so high and I had a lot of protein in my urine which is bad.. Please say a quick prayer that my BP stays down because with LA I can not afford to be on bed rest which is where I would go if we can't get in under control.. I go back to the Dr. on Friday for another check and we will go from there. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it will be down!!

She can't be...

18 months already!!(Well as of 10 days ago!)I sit here,as LA is taking her nap, with tears in my eyes wondering where all this time has gone. Where is that baby girl who could that would look up at you with those big blue eyes and squeal at the top of her lungs? In exchange for this sweet little baby girl we now have a very loving, funny, talking NON-STOP, keeping us on our toes, sweet little girl!! Everyday is a new day and every day we learn something new! Two weeks ago I was sitting on the couch watching her play and out of now where I see her in her play area playing with letters and then all of a sudden say "fibe, sick, seben, eight, nine, teeeeen YEAH". What where did this come from and where were 1234!?!..HAHAHA!! Lily Ann words can not explain how grateful we are to be your parents and how you make us strive to be better parents everyday. We love you more than words can explain and are so proud of you! Here are some things that you are doing now at 18 months:

*You are still a great sleeper.. You will sleep from 7-8:30 and you take 2 2-hour naps a day.
*You are still a very good eater except for now you are not a fan of veggies! You shudder every time we give you some!
*You are such a sweet girl. You have such very good manners. You say "Pease" "Tank two" and today you said "You wecome"! You also make it a point to say "Bye" to everyone you see!! LOL!!
*You talk! I mean you literally talk from the time you wake up til you go to bed! Sometimes you even wake up in the middle of the night talking!! You have about 20-30 words that you use on a daily basis and you still talk in your own language.
*You love love love the Wiggles.. You actually woke up in the middle of the night and said "Wadda wadda wadda Wiggles!" Ithink that's all you dream about!! LOL!!
*You love to count. We count EVERYTHING!!And you now can count from 1-10 all by yourself (Except Mommy and Daddy have to help you out with 4!)
*You also love books.. We read books all day long and usually the same one over and over and over again.. We read Good Night Moon at least 10 times a day and all of your animal books..You love animals and can tell us what they are!(Cow, pig, Tat(Cat), puppy, duck(Although sometimes is comes out with a f instead of a d)We ask you what they all say and you will say "Quack Quack" for the duck but everything else says "ROAAAARRRRR!!" HAHAHA!!
*You love to sneak up on Daddy and scare him.. (Your not a very good sneaker because you laugh all the way to him!)

We love you so much and know that you are going to be an amazing loving big sister!

I really thought....

that LA would like the 5 pairs of flip flops that I bought her.. I mean come on who doesn't like flip flops during summertime!! Well I finally found someone who doesn't!!(Don't mind the mess.. We have been reading books and playing with letters all day long!!) BTW I was Skyping with Mom and Dad when I decided to try them on her so if you hear laughing in the background that is where it is coming from!! I just love this little girl!!

San Francisco Bay Aquarium today and she had a blast!! She loved all the "Fishes" and made it known throughout the whole place.. People were laughing at her because when she saw something she liked it was "OH WOW! OH WOW!! Wook Daddy Wook!!" We laughed the whole time..

Guess who is finally home....

We are sooo excited Jacob got home last Sunday after being gone for almost 6 months.. We are soo glad to finally have him home and LA is in heaven!! I'm bummed because we didn't get to see them actually pull in because LA over slept from her nap and the boat pulled in early. But the boat was there when we got there.. We still had to wait for almost an hour before Jacob made his way to us!! We then took a tour of the new boat.. I was worried that LA might be standoff-ish since she hasn't seen her Daddy since Christmas but once she saw him and he got her out of her stroller they were inseparable and have been every since he's been home.. It melts my heart to see them together!! She is truly a Daddy's girl and she has got him wrapped around her little fingers!!
