Cash is 2 months old...

Really!?! I forgot how fast time goes by. I am just now getting to sit down and write about my sweet baby boy at 2 months. (Over a week late! ;) )

Cash you have given your Daddy and me a run for our money! Well mainly me! LOL!! You are truly a Momma's boy and I love every minute of it! Now that we have finally figured out why you cried and screamed your head off for over 4 weeks (reflux) you are the sweetest little boy. (Not that you weren't sweet before you were just very fussy and no matter what we did we couldn't make you happy and comfortable) You are now on medication for your reflux and are doing so good. You have even started to sleep through the night. YEAH!! Here are some things that you are doing at 2 months:


*You now weigh 11lbs 1 1/2 oz. and are 23 inches long. You are in the 21 percentile for your weight and 53rd for your height.
*You love to roll!! Every time we put you on your mat, bed, or anywhere on your belly you roll right over!
*You love to watch your Sissy. You will just smile and try to talk to her when she is anywhere near you.
*You are still eating 3 1/2ounces every 3 hours during the day.
*You usually go to bed anywhere between 8:30 and 9:30 and will sleep til 5-6am. (3nights in a row now!)
*You love bath time. As soon I put you in your bath you just smile smile smile!
*You love to ride in the car unless we get stuck in traffic. (Which in CA there is always traffic!) You will start to fuss but as soon as we get going you stop. (I have ran through many yellow lights for fear of a screamfest if we get caught at the light! HAHA!)
*You love to be in the stroller and go for walks. When you were really fussy and would cry ALL day long I would put you and LA in the stroller and we would walk. You would be so content but as soon as we would walk back in the house you would scream again!! I must say that you do have the best set of lungs for someone your age! ;)
*You love to cuddle with Mommy! And Mommy LOVES to cuddle with you! The only way you will fall asleep is if I am holding you. (Bad habit I know but this is my last baby and LA did not like to cuddle so I'm soaking it up!)

This is how Cash was for almost 5 weeks before it was determined that he has reflux!

Look who is 2!!

Oh my I am a little behind. More on that in another post. I can't believe that our baby girl is 2! That's right 2! Honestly I don't know where the time has gone, it seems like yesterday that we brought her home from the hospital. LA has grown so much over the past year it boggles my mind. When I was looking back on her 1st birthday pictures I can't believe how little she was and how at the time I thought she was so big! She wasn't even walking on her 1st birthday and now it's so hard to keep up with her! Here are some things that LA is doing now at 2!

*weighs 32 pounds and is 34 inches tall.
* counts to 13
*knows most of her colors and shapes
*Has a HUGE vocabulary and LOVES to talk! She literally talks from the time she gets up to the time she goes to bed! If she is not talking she is humming! She's never quiet! ;)
*Still takes 2 (1-2 hours) naps a day.
*Loves to help out with everything from laundry, starting the dishwasher, picking up, and especially with Cash.
*Totally in love with the Care Bears and "Hogs" Razorbacks! Anytime there is football on the TV she is constantly calling the hogs no matter who is playing!
*really starting to get into dressing up and princesses.
*She is a LOVER! She will run up to Jacob and I and just love on us. She gives us the biggest hugs and kisses and then will just say "I luv you" out of the blue!! Melts my heart!!
*She loves to love on her brother! Poor Cash gets more kisses from her and than Jacob and I combined!
*Is so into making up her own songs and dances! She is the entertainer of the house!

I'm sure there is so much more that I am leaving out.

Lily Ann we are so proud to be your parents! You are such a sweet, loving, silly little girl and you keep us laughing all of the time. We could not imagine our lives without you! You are truly the light in our eyes! Happy Birthday big girl!

Cash is a rolling man..

So I decided to put Cash down on his activity mat on Sunday night to let him stretch out and get some tummy time since it is limited during the day with LA running all over the place. I put him down on his tummy and he rolled over right away! I couldn't believe it! He wasted no time! He was 1 day shy of 8 weeks and I think he is doing pretty good!! He's a strong little boy!

Fun Friday!

What a beautiful morning! I am typing this as LA is playing out in the backyard and Cash is chilling in his bouncer seat next to me! We have been doing this lately in the mornings after breakfast coming out to play since it has been so dang hot in the afternoons. Cash is so good he will just sit and watch LA play and look around. I got this good picture of the two of them just a few minutes ago! Do you know how hard it is to get a good picture of the two of them!?! It's almost impossible! I just loves these two babies more than anything in the world!!

Look Who is 1 Month Old..

I can't believe my baby boy is already a month old! I have forgotten how fast they grow up. I am not ready for him to get big. I want him to stay small for as long as possible. With LA I couldn't wait until she would hit her next milestone but with CW knowing that he is our last baby I want him to stay little for a long time! This little man has stole my heart! He is such a good baby and we have lucked out on both him and LA being chilled relaxed babies. He's not a big crier (which I love! ;) ) and is an AWESOME cuddlier. This little guys loves to cuddle and I LOVE it. LA was so the opposite from the get go. She wasn't into the whole cuddle thing and would rather be put down to sleep, no rocking nothing. (Although since CW has arrived she is all about cuddle time with Mommy, which I'm so happy about!) CW has really started to sleep less during the day in the past week and a half. He loves to lay in his boppy and stare at the mirror and candles on the wall. He is so fascinated by the mirror he would lay there and stare at it all day long if I let him.

Cash, here are some things that you are doing at 1 month:

*You eat 3 oz. usually every 3 hours on the dot. Although the past few days you have gone 4-5 hours on a couple of feedings during the day, Let's hope we can do this at night soon! ;)

*You usually wake up once around 3 am to feed and then not again until after 7am.

*You are a really good sleeper and we are starting to get on a schedule.

*You have really started to stay awake longer during the day. You are usually awake after your morning feeding between 7-8 til usually around 10:30. (I think this is mainly because Sissy entertains you!)

*You love to watch your Sissy act crazy. If you are fussy she will come to you and either sing or tell you to "Shhhhhhh" and you will stop and just watch her.

*Oh how you LOVE bath time. Last night when I put you in you fell asleep because you were so relaxed.

*You loved to be swaddled very tight at night although your arms have to be out if not you will wiggle them until they are free!

*You also like to ride in the car. Although you don't like it when we put you in your car seat but as soon as we put you in the car you are good!(Which by the way is soo nice because we are always going around here!)

Cash we are so proud to be your parents! Although I don't look forward to you growing up so fast, I am excited to watch you grow and learn new things. We love you so much!!
