I really thought....

that LA would like the 5 pairs of flip flops that I bought her.. I mean come on who doesn't like flip flops during summertime!! Well I finally found someone who doesn't!!(Don't mind the mess.. We have been reading books and playing with letters all day long!!) BTW I was Skyping with Mom and Dad when I decided to try them on her so if you hear laughing in the background that is where it is coming from!! I just love this little girl!!

We took Lily Ann to the..

San Francisco Bay Aquarium today and she had a blast!! She loved all the "Fishes" and made it known throughout the whole place.. People were laughing at her because when she saw something she liked it was "OH WOW! OH WOW!! Wook Daddy Wook!!" We laughed the whole time..

Guess who is finally home....

We are sooo excited Jacob got home last Sunday after being gone for almost 6 months.. We are soo glad to finally have him home and LA is in heaven!! I'm bummed because we didn't get to see them actually pull in because LA over slept from her nap and the boat pulled in early. But the boat was there when we got there.. We still had to wait for almost an hour before Jacob made his way to us!! We then took a tour of the new boat.. I was worried that LA might be standoff-ish since she hasn't seen her Daddy since Christmas but once she saw him and he got her out of her stroller they were inseparable and have been every since he's been home.. It melts my heart to see them together!! She is truly a Daddy's girl and she has got him wrapped around her little fingers!!

Finally back home...

So La and I have finally made it back home to California. Emily (my sister), LA, and I set off on our long 3 day road trip last Monday. And let me say it was 3 long days of travel. LA did great. She sat in the back seat and watched Mickey Mouse the whole way home. We did 12 hours the first day, 10 the second, and about 7 the third day.. It was so nice to be back in Arkansas with family while Jacob was gone, especially since I was so sick the first trimester of this pregnancy. We only have a few more days until Jacob will finally be home with us. It has been a long 6 months and we are ready for him to finally be home. It breaks my heart when LA picks up her cell phone and will pretend to talk to Daddy.. That is the only communication besides email that we have had with him over the past couple of months. Before we were able to Skype and she was able to see him. Now when the phone rings she automatically yells "Daddy". Soon we won't have to worry about phone calls or emails because he will be here.. He will be home until June and then be gone for a short tour and should be home in time for the baby to be born.. I don't know what I will do if he's not here for the birth but I have hope that everything will work out in our favor..

I would like to thank our family for taking such good care of us while we were home for a long 3 months vacation.. My Mom and sisters did wonders when I was sick and on bed rest they took care of me and Lily Ann no questions asked. They actually took care of LA the whole time we were home..LOL!! She definitely got very spoiled while we were visiting and loved all the attention.. I must say that I have the best family in the world!! I have a Dr. appointment in the morning to get my referral to see my OB so I will post again soon on Baby B update.. Hopefully we will be able to find out the sex in the next couple of weeks.. I can't believe that I will be 16 weeks on Sunday!! I feel like a whale..LOL!!

This girl keeps me laughing...

So I had walked out of the room for maybe less than 2 minutes to put away some towels and when I came back in the living room I couldn't see LA but I heard her grunting and saying "uugghhhhh ooooohhhh"!! So I picked up my Flip (because I knew she was up to no good!!)and this is what I found...




She always keeps me entertained that's for sure.. I can't wait for Jacob to finally get home and get to experience these moments with us.. Just a few more days and he will finally be home.. It's been a long 6 months and we are ready to finally be a family again!!

12 Weeks..

So as most of you know I'm pregnant again!! WAhoooo!! We couldn't be more excited to finally have our family complete. My due date is August 15, 2010.. Which means that LA and the baby will be right around 18 months apart which is what I've always wanted even though we were surprised it happened when it did.. This little bugger growing in my belly has given me a run for my money.LOL!! I have been so nauseated with this baby from about 6 weeks on.. When I say nauseated I can't even feed LA her food because it makes me sick..(Thank God for Nana!!)Around 7 weeks I started to spot and have bad cramping so Mom took me to the ER and it was the first time I got to see our little baby!! (Jacob was here but unfortunately he was home throwing up with a stomach bug!) Diagnosis:Threatened miscarriage..That is enough to scare anyone.. I was put on bed rest for several days and it killed me to watch my Mom and sisters take care of LA while I couldn't do anything for her!! It really broke my heart!

I have gone to see Dr. Phillips, here in Fort Smith, 2 times now.. The first was to see what was going on and he said that it was normal but that I needed to wait to travel back to CA for a couple of weeks to make sure.. I went back last week and everything looked great and we got the okay to head back!! LA and I will be staying here a couple more weeks. I want to be home as little as possible before Jacob gets home for my fear of something happening and I can't take care of LA.. So Emily, LA, and I will head back around the 15th of February. Did I mention that Jacob is coming HOME!! YAY!! We are soo excited to finally be together as a family again.. These past 5 months have been long and hard, but like everything else it's worth it in the end!!

Here's little Baby B at 11 weeks 1 day!! I think it's a girl..LOL!! Jacob, of course says otherwise!!(It's not really a clear picture but you can tell a little!)



Here I am at 12 weeks..HOLY BELLY!! Look how big I already am.. I wasn't this big with LA til almost 6 months!! I can only imagine how much bigger I will get..(Don't mind the no makeup and bad hair!! LOL)

LA's first time to play in the snow...

Mom and I took LA out to play in the snow yesterday afternoon when she woke up from her nap.. As you can see from the video she was not a big fan at first but slowly warmed up to it.. She still didn't pick any up or get down and play in it.. She basically just stood there like what is this cold and wet stuff..HAHAHA!!

BTW Emily and Erika got me a Flip Camera for Christmas and my birthday and I love it! If you don't have one I highly suggest you go out and by one..They are easy to use and it's little enough to fit in your pocket!!
